News updates

Chain Gang Ring of Kerry

As previously mentioned, we are looking to do the ring of Kerry as a club on Saturday 18th June.

We have a sub-committee ready to go. They will iron out the specific details of the day, with that news coming in the next few weeks.

What we do know is that:

  • It will start in Killarney
  • Run in a clock-wise direction ie. Killarney-Kenmare-Sneem
  • Support vehicle assisted
  • BBQ evening in the Meadowlands in the evening

Depending on numbers and interest, it could be split into 3 levels and start times, with a common meeting point for lunch half-way around.

We would like an idea on numbers, so contact John Murray if you would like to participate.

Bike Week

On the 19th June (the day after the RoK) the club are giving a helping hand with the Bike Week morning in Tralee.

Basically it’s a 4 km and 9 km loop-cycle from the Wetlands on Sunday morning.

All help would be appreciated for the event.

Ring of Beara cycle

Best of luck to all our members taking part in this challenging event.

As a result of a vast number of members doing this cycle, we shall be depleted for our own Saturday spins.

The 25 group are heading out on the Lacy Cup route, so there is something to join in on. If we are stuck for routes or numbers, turn up to the Meadowlands in the morning and something will be arranged.

Wednesday evening spin

For a one-off. John will be taking a Wednesday evening spin via Dan Paddy Andy and Castleisland.

Meadowlands 6:30 pm

Thursday evenings are not affected.
