“CHALLENGE YOURSELF AND CYCLE TO WORK”
The Campaign
Since 2002, EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK has sought to improve public health and quality of life through promoting clean mobility and sustainable urban transport. The campaign gives people the chance to explore the role of city streets and to experiment with practical solutions to tackle urban challenges, such as air pollution.
Join Us
The EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK campaign provides the perfect opportunity to present sustainable mobility alternatives to local residents and to explain the challenges that cities and towns are facing. By taking part, towns and cities can showcase the benefits of cleaner transport choices and make progress towards better mobility in Europe.
“CYCLING IS A HEALTHY WAY TO GET FROM A TO B“
“YOU MEET GREAT FRIENDS OUT CYCLING”
This event is hosted locally by:
- The Chain Gang CC
- Kerry Cycling Campaign
- MTBKY
- Kerry County Council
- Tralee Bay Wetlands
What’s this all about locally?
European Mobility Week is offering individuals the chance to try out their bicycles just to illustrate that cycling can be much more than a recreational past time and very much an alternative form of transport for work, school, shopping and socialising.
On the evening we’ll take the group on a short cycling tour, taking in the cycle paths, roads and country lanes of the Tralee and Blennerville areas.
The event is for over 16’s only and should take no more than 45 minutes.
All Cycling Abilities Welcomed!
Kids don’t despair! There will be a planned kids event on the Sunday at the Wetlands.
SEE YOU THERE!
