The Chain Gang cycles right through the year and with our milder winters here in Kerry, it is a pleasurable experience. Winter cycling a great way to stay fit, keep in touch with and meet new friends and give yourself that edge for the spring time.
We are encouraging present members and potential new members to join us as we look to continue our 22 group into a winter mode.
Every Saturday at 9 am from the Meadowlands Hotel, we are getting like-minded people together to do a relaxed 40 km spin. The cycle shouldn’t take anymore than 2 to 2 and half hours and will be only interrupted with the traditional coffee and scone stop.
Routes will be uncomplicated, flat and easy to navigate. They will be out to destinations such as Castleisland, Ballyheigue, Farranfore and Fenit at a steady 20 to 22 kmph.
